In the blur of media the last few weeks, an excellent press release from the Center for Biological Diversity earned no attention. Titled, “Survey: Most Americans Believe Human Population Is Driving Wildlife Extinctions”, the press release reports on a very important survey with these results:
I had hopes that the Center for Biological Diversity might have revised their immigration views in light of the finding that 74% of their survey respondents say Americans consume too much. However, CBD's statement on immigration still says that they do not oppose immigration into the U.S. and indeed view immigration as a human right (I could agree if they meant emigration instead of immigration).
